The 
Orlando Chapter of USA Dance

A national, non-profit 501(c)(3) educational/charitable organization to promote social and competitive ballroom dancing, defined as all the forms of partner, lead/follow dances.

Public ballroom dances are held on the
third Friday of each month at the
Bahia Shrine Temple,
located at 2300 Pembrook Drive in
Maitland Florida.

Evening events begin at 7:30 with a free
dance lesson taught by local ballroom
professionals, followed with general
ballroom dancing from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. 
Admission is $6 for members and
$10 for non-members.  
Charity dances held during the year are
priced slightly higher.

August 20 - Sock hop
September 17 - Latin Fiesta
October - Masquerade Ball
(charity dance for Breast Cancer Research, increased admission)
November 19 - Harvest Moon Ball
December 17 - Formal Holiday Ball
(Toys for Tots)

The Orlando chapter of
USA Dance:

*participates in
outreach programs that raise funds for
the community, at schools, malls,
senior centers, festivals, nursing homes
non-profit organization fundraisers, etc.

*provides a youth scholarship/financia
program and uses proceeds from
dances to help local youth with the
cost of dance lessons.

*is a proud co-sponser, along with
the City of Altamonte Springs, of
ballroom classes for the
Special Needs Population
(Autistic, Down Syndrome, etc.)
